DePaul Theatre School Performances

Available to alumni, faculty, retirees, staff and students

The Theatre School at DePaul University is committed to its "learning by doing" philosophy of professional theatre training. Subsequently, a significant portion of every Theatre School student's education is hands-on practical experience through several production assignments. The school presents more than 200 performances of more than 35 productions each season, many of them for the public.

The Theatre School Mainstage Series

The Theatre School Mainstage series presents various contemporary and classic plays each season at the Theatre School's Lincoln Park Building. Productions are directed by faculty members or guest directors, designed by advanced students in the design programs and, like all Theatre School productions, feature student work in all aspects of production. Full-priced tickets for this series are $30. DePaul Faculty and Staff tickets are $15, and student tickets are available for $5.

Blue Demon rush tickets are available for any DePaul community members with a valid DePaul ID. Rush tickets are available for $1 (cash only) starting 5 minutes before any mainstage production, pending availability.

Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences

Today we are dedicated to reflecting our audience's experience in a contemporary, multi-ethnic and urban environment. Full-priced tickets are $30. DePaul Faculty and Staff tickets are $15, and student tickets are available for $5.
