C2E2 Gaming Zone
C2E2- Chicago’s Comic & Entertainment Expo- annually hosts over 100,000 attendees to McCormick Place. In collaboration with I Play Games!, DePaul Esports co-sponsors the Gaming Zone. Check out the recap videos from the 2019 & 2020 events to get a peek at the expo.
Vincentian Cup
DePaul University, in partnership with St. John’s University and Niagara University, hosts the Vincentian Cup, an annual event for the three Vincentian universities in the United States. Produced by the Electronic Gaming Federation, the inaugural competition was held December 9-12, 2020, and featured competition in multiple Esports titles, including League of Legends, Rocket League, Smash, and Overwatch. Teams from the three universities competed in the multiday round robin tournament across four titles, earning points toward becoming the Vincentian champion. In true Vincentian fashion, the event allowed competitors from each team and viewers across the world the ability to donate funds that were distributed among the schools’ student emergency assistance funds. State Street Showdown
EsportsEDU: Powered by HyperX
EsportsEDU: Powered by HyperX was a live streamed series designed to get to know the different teams and communities within the DePaul Esports program. Throughout the course of winter quarter 2021, members of the Esports Leadership Team conducted interviews with team captains, players, and community members to get to know their style of play, how to get involved, and more.

Career Chats
DePaul University’s Esports program hosted a nine-week series titled “Career Chats” featuring alumni, faculty, staff, and university partners in the Esports industry. In the series, DePaul students interviewed people with careers in Esports and gaming.
