Announcing DePaul's face covering selfie winners

After receiving over 50 face covering selfies from the DePaul community, students Adrian Esparza, Jane Pallos and Sangsanae Harnudomlarpand (from left to right) were randomly selected to win a DePaul-branded face covering.
After receiving more than 50 face covering selfies from the DePaul community, students Adrian Esparza, Jane Pallos and Sangsanae Harnudomlarpand (from left to right) were randomly selected to win a DePaul-branded face covering.
Last month, DePaul sent out a call to students, faculty and staff to submit their best face covering selfies. From all the submissions received, it's clear that the DePaul community isn't just committed to preventing the spread of COVID-19. It's also a community filled with unique, creative and passionate people.

From the nearly 60 entries submitted, students Adrian Esparza, Sangsanae Harnudomlarpand and Jane Pallos were randomly selected to win a free DePaul-branded face covering.

When asked why their face covering was important to them, they said:

  • "Wearing this DePaul team mask makes me feel like I am part of the team and I am loving Chicago's architecture." - Adrian Esparza
  • "Voting means a lot to me. I love wearing this mask, before and after the election, because without using my physical voice, the mask represents how I can still voice my opinion and use my right to make this country a better place. Our votes choose who represent us, make laws for us and give us justice." - Jane Pallos
  • "I am so proud to be a DePaul student and blue is my favorite color." - Sangsanae Harnudomlarpand
