More than 26,000 people have tuned in to watch the Class of 2020's
online commencement ceremonies on

"It is wonderful to see the entire DePaul community come together to celebrate the Class of 2020," says Victoria Simek, associate director of Academic Events. "This is the beginning of a new, exciting chapter for the 2020 graduates, and it is great to see so many people recognize the graduates' incredible milestone."
DePaul launched ten online ceremonies on Saturday, June 13. The ceremonies included speeches from DePaul President A. Gabriel Esteban, DePaul Interim Provost Salma Ghanem, the deans of each college and school, personalized digital slides of each graduate, and Netflix's “Stranger Things" star and DePaul alum,
Joe Keery.
Furthermore, the ceremonies included commencement addresses from graduates, including:

The Class of 2020, their family and friends, and the rest of the DePaul community can continue to watch the online commencement ceremonies throughout the next year. On the
commencement website, graduates can download their own personalized commencement slides from their college or school's
ceremony page, and access a variety of filters, photos and Giphy stickers to celebrate on
social media.
