Staff Council is in search of staff who represent all areas of the university, bring different perspectives and experiences, and want to be a voice for their colleagues. Submissions to be part of this year's general election are due Wednesday, March 31.
Staff Council serves as the official liaison between staff and other university constituencies by advocating for staff, participating in shared governance and engaging with staff about issues faced in the workplace.
"I chose to join Staff Council for a better sense of community at DePaul," says Jennifer Salazar, secretary for Staff Council. "It's a safe space where I feel staff are appreciated and can share the unique challenges we go through."
