This summer, DePaul announced that, in alignment with Illinois and Chicago's COVID-19 guidance, fully vaccinated individuals on campus will be highly encouraged—though not required—to wear a face mask indoors to support the university's efforts to be a mask-friendly community. Individuals who have not been vaccinated, however, are expected to wear a mask at all times.

DePaul developed a printer-friendly poster to empower faculty, staff and students to publicly support DePaul's commitment to being a mask-friendly campus and to Take Care DePaul.

Download and print the 8½x11-inch poster and place it in your campus space – dorm room, office, apartment or cubicle. This will allow everyone to know you're wearing a face mask indoors to protect and respect the community and that you support others' choices during this unique time.

Please note that university units, departments and individuals should not create separate masking requirements. Individuals can respectfully ask others to wear a mask: for example, when they are in a crowded setting or close proximity. However, it's incredibly important that everyone be mindful of others' circumstances and be respectful of their personal choices.
