Academic Affairs names honorees for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award

2022 honorees of the Provost's Award for Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Established in 2020, the Provost's Award for Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion aims to recognize an individual faculty member or group of faculty who have demonstrated leadership in the pursuit of diversity, equity and inclusion at DePaul.    

From creating innovative initiatives to exemplary scholarship to advocacy efforts, each year, awardees are honored for the impact of their contributions to the university community. Congratulations to this year's award winners: 

Individual award

  • Quinetta Shelby, associate professor in the College of Science and Health

Group award

  • Helen LaVan, professor in the Driehaus College of Business
  • Yvette Lopez, associate professor in the Driehaus College of Business
  • Marty Martin, professor in the Driehaus College of Business

Awards will be conferred in the fall in conjunction with Academic Convocation.
