As of April 19, anyone 16 and over is
eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Illinois. The university's COVID-19 task force is excited to see members of the DePaul community Take Care DePaul and get vaccinated.
While the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released new outdoor guidelines for vaccinated people, after consulting with DePaul's medical experts, the university will continue to require the following for non-vaccinated and fully vaccinated people. This is to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and Take Care DePaul.
- Review Chicago's Emergency Travel Order: If you traveled outside Illinois to another state, check Chicago's Emergency Travel Order. Unless you are fully-vaccinated, traveling to and from designated states requires a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or a 10-day quarantine. As of April 20, 2021, Michigan and Minnesota are on the order's list of designated states.
- Always wear a mask on campus: Everyone is required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times while inside DePaul buildings and outdoors.
- Use the #CampusClear app each time you come to campus: DePaul requires everyone to complete the short #CampusClear questionnaire each time they prepare to come to campus. The #CampusClear app is available for download on both Android and Apple devices. For more information, visit Newsline.
- Maintain physical distance: Keep at least six feet between you and others who are not in your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Thank you for following these steps to promote a safe environment for the entire community while students, faculty and staff continue to schedule and receive their vaccines.
