The DePaul Academic Advising Network is comprised of dedicated Academic Advisors at DePaul University who seek to connect with their professional community and institutional partners, to share information, encourage and motivate one another, and engage in professional development and the continued pursuit of student success best practices, as we help to support the Vincentian mission.
DAAN hosts meetings for Academic Advisors every other month during the academic year. The meeting schedule for the current academic year is listed below and is hosted by the DAAN Steering Committee. All DAAN General Body meetings are held during the third Thursday of every other month between 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm via zoom.

New Academic Advisors are invited to join the DePaul Academic Advising Network and are encouraged to request to be added to the email listserv by contacting the DAAN Secretary, who is listed in the “Meet Our Team” resource page.
DePaul partners who are interested in sharing important updates or presenting a special topic to Academic Advisors at an upcoming DAAN Meeting are invited to submit a request to the DAAN Steering Team. The Request to DAAN also provides an opportunity for members to share suggestions and recommendations for desired topics to be discussed at upcoming DAAN Meetings. Member feedback is valued and will be explored, especially as it relates to how DAAN can help support the Academic Advising community here at DePaul and offer additional professional development resources.
