Ahead of DePaul's 125th anniversary, which will take place during the 2022-2023 academic year, the university launched an anniversary website for the entire community to get the latest information on the university’s celebration plans, as well as to nominate someone for the 125 Faces of DePaul campaign. (DePaul University)While the DePaul community is likely not thinking about what will be happening 12 months from now, the university is very much looking forward to the next academic year. “Why?" you might ask.
Because DePaul will be celebrating its
125th anniversary.
Throughout the 2022-23 academic year, DePaul will commemorate more than a century of Vincentian personalism and providing students with an educational experience that touches heart, mind, people and place.
DePaul created the
125th anniversary website for the entire community to get the latest information on the university's celebration plans including in-person and virtual events, social media campaigns and more.
Call for 125 Faces of DePaul Nominations To kick off the milestone, DePaul is launching the
125 Faces of DePaul campaign. Community members are welcome to
nominate themselves, faculty, staff, students, alumni or DePaul community members who have made a lasting impact on the Blue Demon community.
Nominations may include outstanding former DePaul athletes, a staff member who made your time as a DePaul student impactful, a Lincoln Park neighbor who volunteered their time to the university, a founding member of a student organization or outstanding faculty members.
Nominations are limited to 300 words and are due no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5. The
selection committee will review the nominations and choose 125 people to be prominent ly featured as the 125 Faces of DePaul during the year-long celebration.
