Tell your story – Apply to be a student speaker at June Commencement
Do you have an inspiring or encouraging message? Or do you want to share your experiences and insight? You are
welcome to apply to be your college’s student speaker by noon (12 p.m.) on
Friday, March 31.
When you click the
apply link, you will see information about how to apply, application criteria and suggestions to help tell your DePaul story.
RSVP and reserve your ceremony tickets
Law Graduates
Tickets for commencement at the Chicago Theatre are distributed electronically via
Ticketmaster and the Chicago Theatre app. Graduates and their guests will be given detailed instructions on how to download and transfer tickets closer to the ceremony. For now, please follow the steps below to prepare.
Step 1: Create a free Ticketmaster account linked to your mobile phone and DePaul email address. (If you have an existing Ticketmaster account, skip to Step 2.)
Step 2: RSVP and reserve your ceremony tickets by Wednesday, April 12. The form will request your Ticketmaster account information, as well as a guide to pronounce your name correctly at the ceremony. RSVP'ing will reserve tickets in your name for the ceremony.
June Graduates
You will receive six tickets for your ceremony. To RSVP to your college’s ceremony and reserve tickets, visit Campus Connect, click on the 'Advising, Progress and Graduation' tile and select 'RSVP for Commencement.' Please note the RSVP button will only be visible after you have applied for degree conferral (graduation). RSVP by April 26.
- By RSVP'ing, you are reserving six tickets for your ceremony. You will be able to pick up your tickets at Commencement Pickup in June. More information about the pickup event will be shared with you in Spring Quarter.
Purchase your regalia
To participate in your commencement ceremony, regalia is required and can be purchased through
Herff Jones. The deadline to order is
Wednesday, April 12, for College of Law graduates and Wednesday, April 26, for June graduates.
- You may choose to have your regalia shipped to home (a shipping fee applies) or to pick up your regalia on campus at
Commencement Pickup (with no shipping fee). You will be given this option when placing your order.
