On Sept. 18, "INSIGHT into Diversity" magazine recognized DePaul University as a recipient of a 2019 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity award. The annual award honors U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion. This is the fourth year DePaul has earned the recognition.
The magazine selected DePaul for its innovation by creating an inclusive campus for faculty, staff and students, and for its vision by including diversity as a strategic priority. DePaul will be featured alongside the other 92 recipients in the November 2019 edition of the publication.
"INSIGHT Into Diversity" is the oldest and largest diversity publication for the field of higher education. For more than 45 years, the publication has connected prospective employees with diverse and inclusive institutions and businesses.
