Want to help DePaul unlock a $50,000 gift from a generous donor? The clock is ticking, but there's still time to join the Blue Demon Challenge. Over the past four years, the one-day challenge has raised more than $285,000 for the university. As part of Blue Demon Week 2018, on Feb. 22 DePaul will host its fifth annual Blue Demon Challenge, a one-day giving marathon benefiting the university. If 1000 people make a gift of any size, an anonymous donor will give $50,000 to the university. Gifts will provide need- and merit-based scholarships to help keep DePaul accessible to all students, regardless of the ability to pay.
This year, the Blue Demon Challenge website features a real-time gift tracker, allowing you to know how close DePaul is to 1,000 donors and unlocking $50,000. A donor wall also shares which of your friends, colleagues or former classmates made a gift during the challenge - though gifts can be made anonymously as well.
Want to help spread the word? Become a Blue Demon Challenge Ambassador, and you'll be able to access a custom giving link, sample emails and social media posts to share on Feb. 22. You also can help recruit participants by posting about the challenge via social media and using the hashtag #bluedemonchallenge.
