DePaul University is ranked 119th in the just-released 2019 listing of National Universities by U.S. News & World Report. Last year, DePaul was ranked 120th.
DePaul also is listed 54th as a “Best Value School,” which “takes into account a school’s academic quality … and the net cost of attendance for a student who received the average level of need-based financial aid.”
In undergraduate business programs, DePaul is ranked 87th overall, and 56th in accounting.
DePaul also stood out in two other rankings — 80th in Best Colleges for Veterans and 87th in High School Counselor Rankings.
The 2019 edition of U.S. News Best Colleges, published Sept. 10, “provides data on more than 1,800 colleges and universities, including nearly 1,400 ranked institutions,” according to www.usnews.com. “Schools are evaluated on up to 16 metrics that measure academic excellence, such as class size and average spending per student on areas like instruction and student services.”
