On Wednesday, May 26, DePaul will honor military service members killed in the line of duty with an in-person Memorial Day event that will also be live-streamed.

The ceremony will include remarks from military veterans, as well as prayers for the deceased. The hour-long commemoration, sponsored by the Office of Veterans Affairs, will begin at 12 p.m. at the courtyard between Belden-Racine and Munroe halls on the Lincoln Park campus. (In case of rain, the event will move inside Cortelyou Commons.)

Attendance is limited to 50, due to COVID-19 restrictions, and RSVPs are required. Lunch will be provided to attendees. For those who cannot attend in-person, the service will be broadcast online via Zoom.
