On Wednesday, Jan. 16, DePaul University’s BIG EAST All-Academic Team will be honored at a half-time ceremony during the men’s basketball game versus Butler at Wintrust Arena. This year, four DePaul teams earned the highest GPA in the BIG EAST conference, and overall our student-athletes recorded a 3.455 GPA. I’m especially proud of our 172 student athletes who have been named to the 2017-18 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
I invite DePaul faculty and staff to join us at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the Wintrust Arena to applaud our student athletes and their many achievements. All faculty and staff who attend will be invited to the court to participate in the half-time recognition ceremony.
