On Wednesday, May 2, Boston College's Peter Gray will visit DePaul to deliver a lecture about play and why it's an important vehicle for learning. Sponsored by the College of Education, the event is free and open to all members of the university community.
Gray is a research professor of psychology who has conducted and published research in neuroendocrinology, developmental psychology, anthropology and education. His recent research focuses on the role of play in human evolution and how children educate themselves through play and exploration.
