Peoples Gas is continuing a major infrastructure upgrade project in the Loop along Plymouth Ct., Harrison St. to Congress Pkwy. and Van Buren St., Michigan Ave. to Wells St., and some of the adjacent cross streets. Beginning Monday, Feb. 18, some
parking garage entrances and loading docks near the Loop Campus may be affected by construction zoning.
During construction hours, expect one traffic lane in each direction through work zones. Work hours may vary depending on location.
Below is an anticipated work schedule for the project:
Week of Feb. 18
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Installation in Van Buren St., from State St. to Michigan Ave.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Construction in Van Buren St., from Plymouth Ct. to Michigan Ave.
Week of Feb. 25
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Installation in Jackson Blvd., from Plymouth Ct. to State St.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Installation in the intersection of Jackson Blvd. and State St.
