The start of the academic year is a special time, welcoming new colleagues, renewing friendships and recommitting to the Vincentian idea that education is transformative. I personally invite all faculty and staff to join me for this year's virtual Academic Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m.
Yes, this year's Convocation will be different than previous years, but our traditions are as strong as ever. We will honor our award winners, recognize promotion and tenure recipients, and celebrate the contributions made by faculty and staff to our university. Please register here by Wednesday, Sept. 2. To view the event, registrants will receive a link via email the morning of the ceremony. The event video will also be available on the Convocation webpage following the premiere.
