There is still time to recognize the modern-day St. Louise in your life. If you know a woman who works or studies at DePaul and embodies true Vincentian leadership, submit her for the Louise de Marillac Women of Spirit and Action Award.

St. Louise de Marillac was a wife, mother, teacher, nurse and social worker. She lived her life intensely and enthusiastically and was a woman whose quest in life was to do the will of God with deep trust in Divine Providence. A trusted administrator and faithful co-worker with St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise is foundress of the Daughters of Charity. The DePaul Women’s Network pays homage to the de Marillac tradition of service by celebrating the modern-day Louises in our community. Submissions for this year’s award will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26.
