DePaul hosts screening of 'Mavis!' documentary

The Department of English will host a screening of the film "Mavis!" on Wednesday, Jan. 31. WBEZ's Greg Kot is the event's special guest and will answer questions after the screening.

"Mavis!" is the first feature documentary on gospel and soul music legend and civil rights icon Mavis Staples and her family group, The Staple Singers. The event is free and open to faculty, staff and students.
