Last month, DePaul's public relations and advertising program won the 2018 Outstanding PR Education Program of the Year award at the 19th annual PRWeek Awards. The organization noted DePaul's program for its focus on career outcomes and 100 percent job-placement rate within six months of graduation. The program took first place this year, after winning honorable mention for the category in both 2016 and 2017.
Launched in November 1998, PRWeek is a trade magazine for the public relations industry. Each year, the organization celebrates the best and brightest communicators, agencies and programs in the industry at the PRWeek Awards.
