About "Dead Man Walking"

A "New York Times" best-seller and Oscar-winning film before becoming an opera, "Dead Man Walking" is based on the accounts of Sister Helen Prejean as she became a spiritual advisor to death row inmates. The performance explores the depths of humanity and forgiveness through music and libretto.
