Discounted tickets for Lyric Opera's 'Dead Man Walking'

The Lyric Opera has made available special ticket rates for the DePaul community to attend November performances of "Dead Man Walking," based on the book by Sister Helen Prejean. 

Full-time DePaul students can get $20 tickets for the Nov. 2, 10 and 16 performances by signing up for the Lyric's "Next" student ticket program or by using the discount code DEPAULNEXT.

Faculty and staff are eligible for discounted $49 balcony and $69 main floor seats for the Nov. 2, 10, 13 and 16 performances. Use code DEPAUL19.

College groups, classes and clubs of eight or more are eligible for $35 weekday and $49 weekend shows. 

About "Dead Man Walking"

A "New York Times" best-seller and Oscar-winning film before becoming an opera, "Dead Man Walking" is based on the accounts of Sister Helen Prejean as she became a spiritual advisor to death row inmates. The performance explores the depths of humanity and forgiveness through music and libretto.
