DePaul to change email spam filtering service

Information Commons in the DePaul Library
(DePaul University/Jeff Carrion)
Due to a change made by Google that no longer allows users to access quarantined emails, on Monday, Aug. 26, DePaul will move to the Microsoft 365 spam filtering service. With this service change, some changes will come to spam email management.

Users will no longer receive a daily quarantine summary and spam messages will instead be placed into the junk mail folder. Users also will be able to manage their own safe and blocked senders list. Safe and blocked senders lists for resource accounts can be managed using Outlook on the web. More information is available on the Information Services website.
