DePaul, Prysm Institute collaborate on science entrepreneurship series

Students, faculty and staff interested in health and life sciences entrepreneurship are welcome to RSVP for an upcoming seminar series sponsored by LaunchPad. (DePaul University/Randall Spriggs)

This spring, LaunchPad, a partnership between DePaul and the Prysm Institute will sponsor a high impact, engaging seminar series focused on health and life sciences entrepreneurship. The first event is set for Friday, March 18. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend.

Speakers for the series will share “lessons learned" to encourage, guide and stimulate attendees to consider pursuing innovation and entrepreneurship. Panelists for the March program include world-class professionals with expertise as health and life sciences entrepreneurs, corporate venture capitalists and scientists:

  • Jim Hauert, president CEO at Ordinatrix
  • Jill Mari Embry, CEO at Balance Innovation Center, LLC
  • Rachel Sweeters, co-founder and chief strategy and innovation officer at Vidence
  • Tim O'Malley, co-founder and chair at Innova Medical Design
