The game and animation programs at DePaul's College of Computing and Digital Media are among the top in the nation. This week, the Princeton Review included DePaul on both its 2021 Top 50 Game Design: Undergrad and Top 25 Game Design: Grad lists. The undergraduate program placed 41st while the graduate program came in 25th.

Princeton Review surveyed 150 institutions in the U.S., Canada and abroad, ranking them based on criteria covering academics, faculty, facilities and career opportunities.

Last month, DePaul landed on Animation Career Review's 2021 Top Game Design Schools and Top Animation Schools lists.

The game program ranked 15th nationally and first in the Midwest. The animation program ranked 23rd nationally and second in the Midwest.

CDM offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in game design, game programming and animation. Although the three programs are housed in different schools within CDM, students across disciplines work together frequently on collaborative projects, in shared courses, and even during the gaming and animation study abroad program in Japan.
