The Division of Mission and Ministry will host the 2020 virtual Gathering of Remembrance, an interfaith memorial service in support of all DePaul community members who have lost loved ones over the past year, on Thursday, Nov. 19. All DePaul community members, their family and friends are welcome to attend as we show support and care for those in our community.

Culturally and religiously, the month of November is often a time when we remember those who have gone before us and who have made a meaningful impact on our lives. As we face shorter days, the colder months of the year, and the holiday season, this service is an opportunity to gather as a DePaul community and stand together in mutual support and solidarity with our colleagues who have experienced loss over the past year.

The event will take place at 4 p.m. on YouTube LIVE and will last approximately 30 minutes, during which the names of our deceased loved ones will be read aloud. The deadline to submit names and photos to be shared in the service is Monday, Nov. 2.
