On Feb. 28, Gillian Anderson, a 1990 alumna of The Theatre School at DePaul, took home the 2021 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She earned the award for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in Netflix's “The Crown."This marked Anderson's sixth Golden Globe nomination and second win—her first came in 1997, when she won Best Actress in a Television Drama for playing Agent Dana Scully in “The X-Files."
