Since 2015, DePaul has teamed with the Art Institute of Chicago to foster deeper connections between the institute and the broader university community. To encourage greater use of the Art Institute's resources, the Office of the Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences has developed the Innovation in Teaching Award. Applications for this fall's award are due Wednesday, Nov. 28.
The Innovation in Teaching Award recognizes innovative pedagogical uses of the Art Institute and its collections. All DePaul faculty are welcome to apply for the award.
Eligibility
The course must have been taught in the fall 2018 quarter and used the Art Institute of Chicago in its content and/or assignments.
Deadline
Submissions for fall 2018 are due Wednesday, Nov. 28. Winners will be announced within two weeks of the submission deadline.
What to submit
- Course syllabus
- Copies of Art Institute related content/assignments
- A 250-word description of the significance and creative use of the Art Institute
