Library and Ray Meyer Fitness Center closures, updated Lincoln Park Student Center hours

Effective immediately, Public Safety is discontinuing safety escorts and transports to Illinois Masonic Hospital. Please call 911 if you have an emergency. Extra patrols will be added between residence halls and the Lincoln Park Student Center. 

Effective Tuesday, March 17, the Richardson and Loop Libraries, DePaul Art Museum, all university computer labs, and the Ray Meyer Fitness Center, will be closed until further notice. All operations and programs at the Ray will be suspended, including drop-in recreation, programs, classes and group fitness.

Effective Wednesday, March 18, and through spring break, Lincoln Park Student Center access will be limited to DePaul students, faculty and staff. DePaul IDs will need to be shown to gain entry. Access is limited to the Kenmore Ave. entrance only.

Updated Lincoln Park Student Center hours are:

  • Wednesday, March 18: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 19: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Friday, March 20: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 21: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 22: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The mail room will remain open through Sunday. All residential students should check mail and turn in their mail key before leaving campus.

Starting Monday, three meals per day will be offered at Lincoln Park Student Center during the week during specified blocks of time. Two meals—a brunch and dinner—will be provided on the weekend. The specified times will be shared when they are available. Brownstones and ETC, the convenience store, will also remain open.

There will be no university dining options on the Loop Campus during spring break.

Student Center hours and dining options for spring quarter will be communicated next week.
