Celebrate Lunar New Year with DePaul

March may come in like a lion, as the saying goes, but this February has brought in a tiger.

On Feb. 1, much of the world marked the start of Lunar New Year, with 2022 being the Year of the Tiger. In celebration of this holiday, DePaul will host its annual Lunar New Year festival on Feb. 8 and 9.

All members of the university community are welcome to enjoy live performances and cultural activities at this year's festivities, which will include calligraphy, paper-cutting, red-envelope crafting, a photo booth and fortune-telling. Free, prepackaged food will be provided to attendees, who are also invited to leave their new year greetings on a message wall.

This year, program organizers will host separate but similar events on each campus:
