Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast set for Jan. 21

On Tuesday, Jan. 21, members of the DePaul community will gather for the 23rd annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast. All are welcome to attend the event. RSVPs are requested.

The annual breakfast is part of the President's Signature Series and brings together members of the university community to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. as an activist for social justice.​ This year's breakfast features keynote speaker LaTosha Brownco-founder of Black Voters Matter Fund, an organization dedicated to increasing the political power of black people. A fall 2019 resident fellow at Harvard University's Institute of Politics, Brown also is an award-winning organizer and political strategist, and co-founder of Black Voters Matter Capacity Building Institute, which provides training and support to community-based organizations.
