As we approach the holiday break, the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity invites faculty, staff and students to mark their calendars for upcoming winter quarter events. Newsline will provide more details in January, but for now, mark your calendars for these signature events.

Claude M. Steele, an American social psychologist and a professor of psychology at Stanford University, will serve as the 2022 program's keynote speaker. Best known for his work on stereotype threat and its application to minority student academic performance, Steele's earlier work dealt with research on the self and the role of self-regulation in addictive behaviors.
