The DePaul Parent Connection and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity invite faculty and staff to register for Take Your Child to Work Day 2018. On Thursday, April 26, DePaul faculty and staff have the opportunity to participate in a day of learning and engagement with their children. This year the day is open to all children ages 0-14.

"Engaging our children in the exploration of the workplace improves morale, inquisitiveness, resilience and encourages confidence," says Nancy Hashimoto, director of advising in the College of Education and founding president of DePaul Parent Connection. "The program aims to inspire and empower young children to think and dream about opportunities as they get exposure to careers and professions. We hope the day illustrates the value of education and helps them discover possibilities to reach their goals."

Registration is required, and participants may need to sign a release form. If you have multiple children participating, the family will need to attend all sessions together. Parents are responsible for supervising their child at all times while on campus, and we ask that you do not participate in the day's events if your child is ill.

For more information and a full schedule of the day's events, please visit the DePaul Parent Connection website.
