Futurist Cecily Sommers to speak at President's Lecture Series

On April 26, DePaul will host the next event in the President's Lecture Series. Cecily Sommers, a futurist, will deliver a keynote address titled, “Building Your Capacity for Transformation." RSVPs are required. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend.


A renowned speaker and author of “Think Like a Futurist," Sommers guides organizations from what is known, through what is new and into what is next. She has worked with companies such as Google, Salesforce and JP Morgan Chase. In 2020, Forbes named her one of the “World's Top 50 Female Futurists."

Following her address, Sommers will participate in a Q&A session with program attendees.

​​The President’s Lecture Series keynote event is the first of two events this April, focused on the future for DePaul. On April 29, the university will host a series of Campus Conversations to further explore the themes uncovered during the keynote event.
