Each year, The Steans Center facilitates authentic campus-community partnerships in the quest for justice and transformative education. This year, the center will offer a five-part workshop series and a new Certificate Program to support this mission-based work. The 2018-19 series will commence with the "Introduction to Community-based Service Learning: Making it Work in Your Classroom, the Community, and Your Career." All faculty and staff are invited to the sessions.

This session is ideal for those wishing to:
  • Teach a CbSL course
  • Refresh their knowledge and practice of experiential education;
  • Connect with colleagues and community partners
  • Begin the new Steans CbSL Certificate Program (five workshops plus a capstone project)
Lunch will be provided during the events.
