Campus conversations: Stop Asian hate

Stop Asian Hate
Hate crimes against Asian Americans increased nearly 150% in 2020. Unfair blame for COVID-19 helps to explain the spike in violence, but APIDA people have been subject to discrimination since passage of the Chinese Exclusion Act in 1882. The resurgence of white supremacy has also fueled animosity against all marginalized groups.

As a community of students, staff and faculty, DePaul is committed to the safety and well being of all its members. Join the campus community on April 16 for a webinar and conversation on stopping Asian hate.

A panel of faculty, staff and students will offer their perspectives on the problem and address questions and concerns from the audience. All are welcome to attend. Registration is required by April 15 at 5 p.m.
