Construction is now complete on the new student cultural and resource centers in Lincoln Park on the third floor of the O'Connell Building, 1036 W. Belden. An open house is scheduled from 12-3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, and will feature performances, art and poetry. Activities will take place across all of the centers so that visitors can experience the entire space.

Prior to the grand opening, faculty, staff and students can get a sneak peak of the centers from 5-9 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

Last summer, Student Affairs restructured the Office of Multicultural Student Success to create three, identity-specific student cultural and resource centers at DePaul. Announced in spring 2017, the changes were made in response to student, faculty and staff requests, and are aimed at better meeting the needs of under-represented and marginalized student groups at DePaul.
