Have you lost a family member or loved one over the past year?
Submit their name by Monday, Nov. 12 to be remembered during the Division of Mission and Ministry's seventh annual Gathering of Remembrance.
Culturally and religiously, the month of November is often a time when we remember those who have gone before us and who have made a meaningful impact on our lives. As we face shorter days, the colder months of the year, and the holiday season, this service is an opportunity to gather as a DePaul community and stand together in mutual support and solidarity with our colleagues who have experienced loss over the past year.
Set for Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Gathering of Remembrance is an interfaith memorial service that supports all DePaul community members who recently have lost loved ones. The event will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Cortelyou Commons. It will last approximately 30 minutes with a light reception to follow. Per tradition, the names of our deceased loved ones will be read aloud during the service.
