In light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and DePaul's efforts to keep the community safe during this time, the university has moved summer new student orientation - Premiere and Transition DePaul - programs online, as an entirely virtual experience. This summer's orientations will avoid large gatherings and honor current social distancing practices, while still offering new students the opportunity to connect with students, faculty and staff. It will be a truly interactive experience that will allow them to begin to develop a sense of community at DePaul.

Orientation is a required, multifaceted experience that will include an asynchronous module, an online synchronous session and an advising meeting with an academic advisor, where students will register for fall quarter courses. Orientation leaders, current DePaul students, will also reach out to incoming students individually throughout the summer months.

Registration for summer 2020 orientations will begin in early May and sessions will continue throughout the summer.
