Catholic Volunteer Network named DePaul on its list of “Top Schools for Service." DePaul is one of 14 schools honored in the Midwest region.

CVN identified DePaul's Division of Mission and Ministry within a special group of campus ministry and service-learning offices nationwide that have demonstrated excellence in supporting young adults, as well as advocating for post-graduate service programs.

The organization also recognized DePaul based on volunteer and staff feedback. Throughout 2018-19, organizations recruited a large number of volunteers from the DePaul community. CVN staff noted the university's encouragement of both student and post-graduate service.

Since 1963, Catholic Volunteer Network has sought to bring together people who have a heart for service. The community consists of program staff; volunteers; missioners; colleges and universities; dioceses and parishes; religious communities; and lay groups who are champions for service.
