Faculty and staff: University to host events for parents and families

In the coming months, the university will host a number of events tailored for DePaul parents and families.

Family Day with Blue Demon basketball - Sunday, Jan. 28

Athletics will host Faculty and Staff Family Day for men's basketball v. Seton Hall at Wintrust Arena on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. For families, the KIDZONE will be available on the Demon Deck and will feature a bounce house, pop-a-shot, corn hole, a small kids' bag toss, temporary tattoos, photos with DIBS and a face painter. The KIDZONE will be available when doors open at 1:30 p.m. through halftime.  

Families who wish to purchase tickets can enter DPUFAMILY as a promo code and receive $5 off for advance purchases. The code will not apply for game day purchases. The seats in sections 220, 120, 214 and 114 will be closest access to the KIDZONE, which will be located behind the student Demon Deck, in the north end zone, behind the top of sections 115, 117 and 119. Tickets can be purchased on the Athletics website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FANS: Wintrust Arena purse and bag policy

In an effort to enhance public safety and the fan experience, Wintrust Arena will implement the use of metal detectors and follow policy limiting the size and style of bags allowed in the facility. Learn more about the Purse and Bag Policy.

Theater School production of Junie B. Jones - Jan. 11 to Feb. 17

Remember Junie B. Jones? She's back, and she's on stage! In the theatrical world of "Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook," Junie B.'s everyday life is packed with amazing discoveries, cool new kids, and life-long lessons about being a good person and a good friend!  Produced by The Theatre School at DePaul, the show is recommended for ages 5 and up.

Take Your Child to Work Day 2018 - April 26

As you may have read about in Newsline, DePaul is hosting the 2018 Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 26. Organizers are finalizing details, but please save the date and share the information with your colleagues.
