Earlier this month, Variety named DePaul to its list of Best Film Schools for 2019. DePaul and 49 other schools across the country were honored for both their academic offerings and showbiz circles.

Variety noted DePaul's range of degrees and the School of Cinematic Arts, calling out the school's specialization in live-action and animation storytelling and filmmaking.

For more than 110 years, Variety has aimed to provide entertainment business news through a weekly magazine and website to a wide range of audiences.
