On Tuesday, March 29, DePaul
will host an event in honor of Women's History Month. Sponsored by the DePaul Women's Network and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, the virtual program will bring together faculty, staff and students to celebrate women's leadership and allyship. The Rev. Irene Monroe will serve as the program's keynote speaker. Monroe is a founder and member emeritus of the National Black Justice Coalition. She also is a founder of the groups Equal Partners of Faith, the Religious Coalition for the Freedom to Marry and Christian Lesbians Out.
The event also will feature remarks by Salma Ghanem, provost for DePaul, and a reading by Francesca Royster, a professor in the Department of English.
