The efforts of the Vote DePaul team were recently recognized when DePaul University was named a 2024 ALL IN Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting. The honor recognizes colleges and universities intentionally increasing nonpartisan democratic engagement and college student voting. DePaul was one of 471 campuses recognized with this honor.

What is Vote DePaul?

Vote DePaul is a small but dedicated group of staff and students that develops a nonpartisan campaign to register students to vote annually. They help students understand the issues that matter to them, what’s important to their community and how to do research and remain engaged after election day. They conducted 10 events or programs in October leading up to the Nov. 5 election.

Why the recognition matters

By providing structure, support and recognition, ALL IN encourages student engagement in the democratic process, increasing representation and strengthening American democracy. By participating in programs at DePaul, students acquire the knowledge and skills to meaningfully engage in civic activities.

The impact of Vote DePaul

This fall, Vote DePaul helped to register 327 students to vote and assisted over 250 students with absentee voting and address changes.
