2025 class of Fellows of the American Mathematical Society. Fellows of the AMS are recognized as having made exceptional contributions to the field of mathematics, and Tenner is one of forty-one mathematicians from around the world to join the Fellows this year.
Tenner has been a faculty member at DePaul since 2007 and has had a lasting impact on the Department of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Science and Health. She specializes in combinatorics and specifically permutations, or orderings of a set of objects that model mathematical scenarios. Tenner's research has applications beyond mathematics, including to fields like computer science and computational biology. She has collaborated with students and faculty at DePaul and at universities across the United States and the world.
