On Saturday, Sept. 17, all members of the campus community are welcome to join a party celebrating the partnership between DePaul and the Chicago Park District to renovate the historic basketball courts at Lin Park. DePaul swag and light refreshments will be shared with attendees. Space is limited and registration is requested.

Robert L. Manuel, president of DePaul, and DIBS will attend to mingle with guests. Doug Bruno, head coach of women's basketball, and Blue Demon basketball players also are set to provide skills demonstrations to youth participants during the event. The newly renovated public park features resurfaced basketball courts and provides opportunities for programming for the community. DePaul invested in Lin Park as a legacy project for its 125th anniversary celebrations. It is located less than a mile from Wintrust Arena, home to DePaul men’s and women’s basketball.
