Listening sessions scheduled to discuss DePaul's spiritual life

In January, President Robert L. Manuel announced a set of immediate actions to address questions of bias and equity at DePaul University. One of these actions was to engage a working group on topics of religious intolerance on our campus.

The working group now invites faculty and staff to participate in listening sessions next week that are designed to explore the challenges and opportunities on our religiously diverse campus. The listening sessions are a way for university administrators to learn more about faculty/staff experiences, as well as to explore the ways DePaul can continue to support the community in living out their religious/ spiritual life and beliefs.

The sessions will be hosted by a university working group led by Fr. Memo Campuzano, C.M., vice president for the Division of Mission and Ministry; Elizabeth Ortiz, vice president for the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity; and Gene Zdziarski, vice president for Student Affairs.
