The university has a full slate of online student activities planned for this fall, in addition to limited on campus programming. However, in an effort to assist students, DePaul is waiving the Student Activity Fee and Athletic Fee for the fall quarter.

Previously, on March 13, the university announced the Student Activity Fee, Athletic Fee and CTA U-Pass fee would be waived for the Spring Quarter.

In addition to waiving the Student Activity Fee and Athletic Fee this fall, DePaul has been in touch with CTA and learned that due to the continuing uncertainty related to COVID-19, CTA will continue to allow full-time eligible students to opt out of purchasing a U-Pass for the fall 2020 term.

While full-time students have had the option to opt out during the summer, this is the first time this choice has been offered for the Fall Quarter. An online form to opt out will be available for students this month. The last day to opt out without penalty is Sept. 22. More information about U-Pass.

These steps to assist students are being taken on top of freezing tuition for the 2020-21 academic year, as previously announced April 2.
