The DePaul Humanities Center has named its three 2023-25 faculty fellows. Selected from a highly competitive applicant pool, these faculty will serve for two academic years researching their respective topics. Congratulations to this cycle’s fellows:

Delia Cosentino, History of Art and Architecture | "The Making of a Mexican Spartacus: Aztec Gladiators and European Print Culture"

Colleen Doody, History | "City of Candy: Chicago and the Confectionary Industry"

Yun-Chen Lu, History of Art and Architecture | "Paths to Artistic Eccentricity: Artists with Disabilities and Their Art in Eighteenth-Century Yangzhou"

The Humanities Center Fellows Program supports the development, communication and intersection of arts and humanities research at DePaul. The program aims to foster intellectual exchange both on and beyond campus.

Applications for the 2024-26 round of fellowships will open in September and must be received by Dec. 18. All full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty pursuing research in the arts and humanities are welcome to apply. More information is available on the DHC website.
